for our Monthly Fellowship meetings which are being held on last Saturday of every
month.

On Jan. 16, 1999, a group of Christians from the San Jose, California area had a
meeting to discuss the feasibility of creating a religious organization for Christians
who were from India living in the area. The attendees put forth the following goals
for the organization:
- Meet on a monthly basis to worship
- Share our spiritual experiences with fellow believers
- Spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to others around us

Bethany Fellowship
Bethany Fellowship of Evangelical Churches was started in 1973 and has
26 village churches (including 6 Koya tribal churches) in the fellowship. Various
parts of ministry include Bethany Children's Home (with 32 boys), Youth ministry,
Village outreach mininistry, Church planting and Medical Camps.
Indian Evangelical Mission(IEM)
In January 1965, the Evangelical Fellowship of India were having their
National Convention at Devlali in Maharashtra. During this Convention, the Executive
Committee of EFI decided to revive the missionary enterprise.
