News of God's free gift of Salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ to a lost world, particularly

of Lord Jesus Christ and learn and maintain Telugu Christian heritage.

Mission
"Reaching the unreached, worshiping the Lord, passing on Telugu Christian Culture
and Traditions to the next generations."
On Jan. 16, 1999, a group of Christians from the San Jose, California area had a
meeting to discuss the feasibility of creating a religious organization for Christians
who were from India living in the area. The attendees put forth the following goals
for the organization:
- Meet on a monthly basis to worship
- Share our spiritual experiences with fellow believers
- Spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to others around us
Taking into consideration the above goals, the attendees decided to form a small
team to develop a set of bylaws to define the organization. A draft version of the
by laws were created and reviewed by the entire team. The final draft of the bylaws
was adopted on Mar 13, 1999. Soon after the bylaws were adopted, an advisory team
was formed to elect the officers. The following officers were elected:
- John Comfort, President
- Sam Sudarsanam, Vice President
- Albert Gondi, Treasurer
- Pradeep Nennepaga, Secretary
The following attendees actively participated in forming the organization:
- Harold Pagadala
- John Comfort
- John Kodur
- Sam Sudarsanam
- Pradeep Nennapaga
- Srikant Vejendla

Indian Evangelical Mission(IEM)
In January 1965, the Evangelical Fellowship of India were having their National
Convention at Devlali in Maharashtra. During this Convention, the Executive Committee
of EFI decided to revive the missionary enterprise. Thus the Indian Evangelical
Mission (IEM) was born. Rev Dr Theodore Williams was its founder General Secretary.
Rev P John Wesley is serving as the current General Secretary of the Indian Evangelical
Mission.
With one missionary, a few hundred rupees and a bicycle, this Faith Mission grew.
Christians saw growth and vitality in the Mission as it blossomed into a vital tool
in the hands of God, eager to fulfill the Great Commission, in letter and in spirit.
The first office of the Mission was the brief case of the General Secretary! From
one missionary, it has grown now to family of 580 missionaries and office staff.
Our Mission is to : -take the Gospel of Jesus Christ
to the un-evangelized areas in India and abroad, and to plant churches among unreached
people. Our goal is a church among every people group and the Gospel to every person.
- challenge Indian Christians to realize their responsibility for world evangelization
and to recognize their partnership with other Christians in the world in fulfilling
their task
